The Annual Medicare CAHPS Survey: Producer Do’s and Don’ts
March 11, 2026
Applies to Medicare Markets
The Medicare Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Survey began fielding on March 2, 2026, and closes on June 1.
What Members are Asked
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services sends this survey to a sample of Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan members each year. It asks about their recent health care experience – including their plan, doctors, services, and overall satisfaction. Their responses are first de-identified and then shared with us, which we use to evaluate our Medicare plans.

Members might receive the survey by:
- Email from the Medicare Experience Team (CMS‑branded) at mcahps_survey@cahps.pgsurveying.com.
