For seamless renewals and timely payments:
- Certification must be completed by Dec. 23 for renewal compensation.
- Certification for new business must be completed prior to sale for compensation.
- Verify with the Department of Insurance that your license is current and active. Also, confirm your license renewal date and check that it’s not expiring soon.
Completing membership applications:
Make sure to include:
- The nine-digit BCBSMT writing agent ID number for each state where you are operating (NOT agency ID)
- Your name
