The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services and Montana Asthma Control Program will host the annual Big Sky Pulmonary Conference on March 6-7, 2025, at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.
The Big Sky Pulmonary Conference provides continuing education for health professionals. It highlights promising methods of preventing and managing respiratory disease and associated risk factors according to evidence-based guidelines.
Conference sessions: Presenting physicians and other health professionals include experts in sleep medicine, pediatric and adult pulmonary care, allergy, immunology, pharmacology, radiology and public health practice. The conference will include the following topics:
- Mindfulness and breathing techniques
- Clinical genetics and lung disease
- Bariatrics and pulmonary considerations
- Pulmonary audio diagnosis
- Cannabis and respiratory health
- Pulmonary impacts of vaping
- Asthma in the elderly
- Impacts of long COVID
