Great news from Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS): The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has extended the deadline to apply for payment from the Provider Relief Fund General Allocation to August 3, 2020.
HHS is allocating $15 billion to providers who participate in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program and have not received a payment from the Provider Relief Fund. As of July 10, less than 2% of the Medicaid/CHIP providers who the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) anticipates are eligible for Provider Relief Fund payments have submitted applications through the portal in most states.
DPHHS encourages all Healthy Montana Kids providers, even if they are uncertain whether they are eligible, to begin the application process as soon as possible by submitting their Tax Identification Number (TIN) through the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund Attestation Portal.
See the Overview and Access Guide on requirements for eligibility and how to apply. Below is more information that can also help with your application.
