In a November 2019 News and Updates notice, we announced the upcoming launch of a new online Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) enrollment option. This new capability is now available in the Availity Portal using the multi-payer Transaction Enrollment tool.
Availity's Transaction Enrollment option allows providers to submit EFT and ERA enrollments electronically to multiple payers at the same time. Providers can also monitor the enrollment status and/or make necessary changes to their current EFT and ERA set-up with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT).
EFT and ERA enrollment via Availity is easy to complete, without the inconvenience of downloading and faxing or mailing paper enrollment forms. Once the online enrollment is processed, providers will receive a confirmation letter from BCBSMT acknowledging the enrollment effective date along with other important details.
How to access Availity's Transaction Enrollment option:
*The EFT Transaction Enrollment option is only available to Availity administrators and/or registered Availity users who have been granted access.
To register for Availity, simply go to Availity and sign up today, at no cost. For additional assistance with the enrollment process, refer to the new Availity EFT and ERA Tip Sheet in the Claims Payment and Remittance section of our Provider website.
